Ellie Jones

Ellie Jones joined Wheeler Associates in March 2026 as Director of Operations and Financial Strategy, bringing a thoughtful, results-driven approach grounded in both financial expertise and hands-on operational experience. A Duluth native, Ellie earned her degree in Finance and Political Science from the University of Minnesota Duluth, where she developed a strong analytical foundation alongside a lasting interest in public service.

Her career spans both the private and public sectors, giving her a well-rounded perspective on financial strategy and organizational operations. Prior to joining Wheeler, Ellie served as Controller for a local small business, where she led day-to-day financial management and spearheaded strategic initiatives to improve operational efficiency. She also served on the Hermantown City Council, working closely with community stakeholders to advance local initiatives and build meaningful, lasting relationships.

Outside of her professional work, Ellie values time with her family and an active lifestyle. She enjoys spending time with her husband, Kyle, and their two sons, Brooks and Hudson. Whether on the golf course, attending live music, or relaxing at the lake, she appreciates every opportunity to make the most of Minnesota’s seasons.
